A new look for GnarlyBoarders

Another season starts, so a bit of a new look was called for. What was there for the last couple of months was just how this thing looks out of the box, so needed a bit of customising.
If you have any problems e.g. it looking very messy and confused, just hit F5 / Refresh to reload all the new bits. This should sort things out.
There are a few bits still with the old colours on that I still need to sort out (e.g. the menu on the left I can see right now while editing this post) - I will sort these shortly. Anything else though, please reply to this post to let me know.
So, what do you think of the new look? Better/worse/average? I'm no designer, so it is nothing special, but some of you out there are, so you can always offer some guidance! The GnarlyBoarders logo up the top there is one thing that could do with some improvement for instance. I was thinking of running a competition to design a new one. All ideas welcome anyway - it's your site as much as mine!
Well, Mr Dumpy has been shitting all over the mountains here since last night - long overdue as well - they were supposed to open yesterday but couldn't. Fingers crossed for later this week...

yeah, cetainly an improvement, would be nice to get a logo designed so some more stickers and clothes wear can be made up..

like the photos down the side, would be nice to have a photo across the top of the home page,to remind us of what we know and love,

may be greg photos of shitail or phots of the sloth, or maybe even a competition each month for young up and comming artists and photographers, the best one as voted by the masses gets to be the home page photo, bod could get ketchup air, the colonel could go out bird spotting, or oscar the dog could get all arty on us??

anyone with me on that?

i am off for a farm in the sun shine, taking my dog with me, its 30 degrees here all good, breafast has been farmed back and the horse is ready to get out of the paddock,, until next time,,

i love you all

I've removed the Forums at the moment - I didn't see them getting used too much (your good self excepted!) really so thought we'd stick with just Blogs at the moment. If t'others do want them back again I only have to flick the switch and they're on.

yes indeedy - nothing stays still for too long here on GnarlyBoarders. There are a few bits here and there still using the brown style so bare with us and all will be well again soon!

Great work on the new tractor! Sloth is back over to plough some of the Welsh fields in March next year so will have to farm that out..
