Bob is still in shock but loving the fact that one day soon she will become royalty!

Believe it or not i didn't see it coming considering Matt had been planning it since November last year so it was a lovely surprise and i couldn't ask for a better place to be proposed to.

Had the best day i could ever wish for - riding off piste on fresh knee deep powder, a gorgeous ring put on my finger, champagne on the mountain, champagne off the mountain and a ride on the back of a skidoo to none other than the marmotte restaurant joined by my future bridesmaid Claire Brrrramham and her boyfriend Steven. There we all ate delicious filet of bouef with Rosti, drank a delicious bottle of pinot noir before a 20 minute tabogan race back down the mountain - similar style to Matt's ride down from 1850 to 1550 3 years ago but this time it was legal!

Immediately ventured with soaking bottoms onto the famous Farm club for some more champagne but was a bit quiet for our liking so finished the night off in the Casbar dancing to a string of songs featured in the mix section of the latest Showoffs DVD - no Gendle and Warwood this time but a perfect ending to a perfect day. Hang on though, the celebrations didn't end last night, they carried into this morning with pancakes and tea in bed courtesy of our lovely chalet hosts Jack and Lottie! What more could the future Mr and Mrs King ask for!

Couldn't have put it better myself! Congratulations goes out to the newly-crowned royals.

I had the pleasure of a call from the 2 of them at around 4am their time, with Alan riding on their shoulders and Hamed all over the place! Dear me we had quite a Bobanory about it all. No of course you're not stealing our thunder, Bob!

Great news all round, loving the freshies and bluebird you got to ride in - that's the farming we all know and love.

Well it's Friday evening, this Sloth's off in a week, but needs some booze in the meantime. Farm on, over and out. xx

That's great news, what better way to propose than in the mountains surrounded by powder, congratulations. Looking forward to celebrating with you on the 10th as i hear you're in London town?

Good work and congratulations from Bods in Breckenridge CO. USA - managed to find a whole week of non stop powder riding in and amongst the trees and bowls of resorts incl. Breck, Keystone, Vail and Arapahoe Basin - now into our second week and it is mostly sunny....all good.
